Byron Burford
Byron Burford was born on July 12, 1920 in Jackson, Mississippi. He was an artist and educator who worked and lived in Iowa City, Iowa. Burford passed away on June 17, 2011.

Normal Editions Projects
Burford participated in two collaborative print projects at Normal Editions Workshop during two separate short term residencies in the School of Art at Illinois State University. The first visit was in 1977 to work with collaborative printer Stephen Britko, followed by a 1983 visit to work with collaborative printer Richard Finch.
