Successors: Printmaking Alumni hosted by Transpace Gallery, Galleries 2.5 and 3, October 22-November 1 featured works by 30 printmaking alumni from Illinois State University. Artists included Dennis Applebee, Kaye Buchman, Christopher Buoscio, Frank Bush, Nicholas J. DePeder, Todd J. DeVriese, Johnny Disco, Rhea Edge, Bob Erickson, Dick Folse, Jeff Garland, Brandon J. Gunn, Melissa Haviland, Yoko Kawazoe, Hannah Miller, Mitch Mitchell, Kelly Naschert, Colin Tuis Nesbit, Lori Niemtschk, Mary Jane Parker, Teresa J. Parker, Meda R. Rives, Veda M. Rives, Marilee D. Salvator, Amy Schmierbach, Emerson Stone III, Grace Traynor, Phillip J. Turner, Pamela Wenger, and Steven Wirth.

Collaborations with Alumni hosted by Transpace Gallery, Gallery 2, October 22-November 1 featured nine prints created in collaboration with seven alumni at Normal Editions. Artists included Michael Dubina, Mark Forth, Wonsook Kim, Lisa Lofgren, Dann Nardi, Matthew Day Perez, and John Perry.

Selected Works: Maritza Dávila, Michael Dubina, Julia Fish, Denise Green, John Himmelfarb, Wonsook Kim, Stephen Lacy, Reuben Lorch-Miller, Tyler Lotz, Josefina Muñoz, Kenny Scharf, Laura Splan, and Jason Walker  featured a dozen lithographs from recent collaborations with visiting artists, Wonsook Kim School of Art offices, Center for the Visual Arts, room 119.

Collaborative Explorations Exhibition from Normal Editions Workshop and Illinois State University's Visiting Artist Program hosted by Milner Library, Floor 2, October 1-31.

Artists included: Amy Cousins, Stephen Lacy, Stephanie Liner, Reuben Lorch-Miller, Josefina Munoz, Richard Rezac, Laura Splan, Olivia Valentine, Jason Walker, and Ian Weaver.

Statement: This exhibition presented a selection of works created through the partnership between Illinois State University's Visiting Artist Program and Normal Editions Workshop (NEW). The Visiting Artist Program brings a number of distinguished national and international artists to campus for long-term residencies and short-term engagements. Normal Editions Workshop worked with a number of these artists to create distinctive collaborative prints. These works featured a broad spectrum of media, interest, and subject matter.

Special Event: Amy Cousins, a recent NEW collaborator and Visiting Artist signed prints and discussed her research and creative process Wednesday, October 17 at 4:30 p.m. As related to the exhibition, information about the archive of Milner Library and Illinois State's LGBTQ Institute was also highlighted. Amy Cousins presented an impression from her edition, Can't Stop Dancing, a twelve-color lithograph completed in 2018, to the LGBTQ Institute to be displayed in their area in the future. This project was partially supported by the Illinois Arts Council Agency and a Fell Trust award from the Illinois State University Foundation.
