In Celebration of the 30th Anniversary of Normal Editions Workshop 1976-2006:

Frontiers in Printmaking

Frontiers in Printmaking was a conference, October 3, 4, & 5, 2007, that featured discourse on various historical topics, highlighted current developments, and explored future directions.

The conference focused attention on the contemporary contributions and rich heritage of printmaking and related subjects to the overall visual culture.

The 30th anniversary celebration of Normal Editions Workshop and conference was held in conjunction with the sesquicentennial year of Illinois State University.

Conference Highlights

Keynote Speaker: Rudy Pozzatti, Distinguished Professor Emeritus, Indiana University

Panel Discussions; Printmaking Demonstrations and Presentations; Featured Exhibitions; and other activities including Open Portfolio for all conference attendees; Exchange Portfolio; Recruitment Fair, Opening Night Buffet; Special Collections tour at Milner Library featuring artists' books and circus posters; and Open Studios by Illinois State faculty, graduate students, and community artists
